This tutorial is good and bad… It’s a good visual of how to make an animated button (video tutorial, although no audio), but the doesn’t tell you how to draw the symbols used for the animation. So, if you know how to make a simple animation, but have wondered how to incorporate it into a button on mouse over, than this tutorial should be helpful. The tutorial also uses the button symbol in Flash to do this. Personally, I’ve been leaning more towards creating animated buttons as movie clip symbols instead of button symbols, but this is a simple way of accomplishing the same result for those who don’t know much ActionScript. Overall, worth a look for a quick solution for creating an animated button (again, if you already have the animation)
