Editor’s Review:

Slow moving video tutorial with no commentary. While it does go through things like how to add, hide, lock, name, and draw on different layers, without any commentary, this tutorial is a little lacking. The concepts are there, but in my opinion, the user still has to do a little playing around on there own to really see how these different options work. Also, while it shows how to create layers, it doesn’t talk about why using layers is so important and how it can be extremely helpful for working in Flash.

FYI, to get the tutorial to play, you need to rollover the top left corner of the Flash stage, and select it from the drop down menu. Personally, I found this not very user-friendly.
